Vocational & Technical Skill Development

Establish free or subsidized vocational training centers for youth, women, transgender persons, and marginalized communities.
Offer certified programs in construction, electrical, mechanical, automotive, and IT fields for youth and marginalized groups.
Develop apprenticeship programs in collaboration with industries.

Inclusion of Differently-Abled & Special Groups (PWDs) Persons with Disabilities

  • Ensure Inclusive Access to Training: 
    Provide equitable access to skill development programs for all, especially underserved populations including persons with disabilities (PWDs), through inclusive policies and outreach. 
  • Design Customized Vocational Programs for PWDs:
    Develop and implement specialized training modules tailored to the needs, capabilities, and aspirations of persons with different types of disabilities (physical, visual, hearing, cognitive, etc.).
  • Create Disability-Friendly Learning Environments:
    Ensure training centers are physically accessible and equipped with assistive technologies and inclusive learning materials to accommodate trainees with disabilities.
  • Promote Employability and Entrepreneurship:
    Facilitate employment opportunities and self-employment support for all trainees, including PWDs, by building industry-relevant skills and offering career counseling and business development services.
  • Engage Stakeholders for Inclusive Development:
    Collaborate with DPOs (Disabled Persons’ Organizations), NGOs, government institutions, and the corporate sector to promote workplace inclusion and sustainable livelihood options for PWDs.
  • Raise Awareness on Disability Inclusion:
    Conduct workshops, seminars, and community outreach programs to sensitize trainers, employers, and the public about the potential of PWDs and the importance of an inclusive workforce.
  • Implement Robust Monitoring and Evaluation Systems:
    Track the progress and outcomes of all training initiatives with disaggregated data, including disability status, to measure impact and ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Provide Financial and Social Support Mechanisms:
    Offer fee discounts, learning aids, and mentorship for deserving and differently-abled individuals to reduce barriers to participation and completion of training programs.
